DAY6's Sungjin will debut as a special commentator at the 2025 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO All-Star Game which will be held on July 12, 2025. According to a report by SPOTV News on July 10, 2025, Sungjin, who is from Busan, is known to be a big fan of the Lotte Giants baseball team.
He often displays his love for the sport. "I'm so grateful to be invited to this party for baseball fans. As a fan, I'm going to enjoy this moment with joy," Sungjin said, expressing his enthusiasm. When asked about his fellow DAY6 members' reactions, Sungjin jokingly said, "They probably don't know yet.
But if they did, I think Wonpil would be the most jealous!" He also touched on DAY6's experience at a similar event last year, when all members performed a special performance during the All-Star Game's cleaning time. Now, Sungjin returns to the event in a new role as a commentator.
When asked about the charm that earned him an invitation to the All-Star Game every year, Sungjin humbly replied, “I’m curious myself. For me, being able to watch baseball and even be a commentator is an honor. If I’m invited again next year, I’ll definitely go!”
