BLACKPINK's Jennie is increasingly showing her commitment to her solo career. After establishing her own agency, ODDATELIER, Jennie has now officially joined the label Alta Music Group for her future solo projects.

Alta Music Group is a music label founded by Jeremy Elrich, former global head of music at Spotify. The company recently launched and operates as a full-service independent music label, including recording, publishing, and artist management.

Jennie is the main artist Alta Music Group has signed to its roster. They also include Cat Matthews, the group WHATMORE, and rapper Bodhi Bleu on their recording and music publishing roster.

As reported by Variety on Tuesday July 29, 2025, Alta Music Group didn't just sign the "like JENNIE" singer. From the K-Pop scene, they also partnered with THEBLACKLABEL, managed by Teddy Park. THEBLACKLABEL is currently enjoying a successful career thanks to the groups MEOVV and ALLDAY PROJECT.

Alta Music Group's partnership with THEBLACKLABEL differs from the contract signed with Jennie. Jennie will be the main artist on this label, while THEBLACKLABEL's partnership is limited to music distribution and artist promotion.

Jennie Ruby Jane released her debut full-length album, "Ruby," last March under Columbia Records. The album was a huge success, making Jennie the most-streamed artist on Spotify in 2025.

It's no surprise that Alta Music Group took notice of Jennie and partnered with her. These two are powerful names in the music industry today, so their collaboration is anticipated to be a breakthrough in the global music scene.

Jennie is currently busy touring the world with BLACKPINK through the DEADLINE concert. The quartet is currently on the US leg of their tour before moving on to Asia. Indonesia will be participating in the DEADLINE concert on November 1-2, 2025.
