PURPLE KISS will end their activities this November 2025. The South Korean girl group, consisting of Na Goeun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan, will be officially disbanded by RBW management.
PURPLE KISS's disbandment was announced by RBW on Monday August 4, 2025. The management company, which also manages MAMAMOO, began the announcement by apologizing for the sudden news. "PURPLE KISS will end group activities this November," they said.
"Because of the members' deep affection for the group, we had a long and thoughtful discussion about our next steps. Ultimately, we agreed (to end the group's activities) based on mutual respect and support for the members' dreams," RBW continued.
Management emphasized that although PURPLE KISS officially disbanded in November, all previously scheduled activities will continue. This is a form of responsibility and love for PLORY, PURPLE KISS's fans.
PURPLE KISS plans to release a new English-language album this month. It's both a gift and a farewell to fans from the group, which debuted in 2021. PURPLE KISS will also travel to Japan and the United States for the tour.
The concert will conclude in South Korea. "RWB has shared many moments with PURPLE KISS and we extend our sincere gratitude to the 6 members who have made PURPLE KISS shine.
Even on less than perfect days, all moments shine brightly thanks to the passion of the members and PLORY who always stand by their side. Once again, we thank PLORY for their warm love for PURPLE KISS. Thank you," concluded RBW.
PURPLE KISS debuted on March 15, 2021. Before officially stepping onto the K-Pop stage, they started with pre-debut singles titled My Heart Skip a Beat and Can We Talk Again. Starting their career with 7 members, PURPLE KISS then existed with a 6-member formation until now.
Early in their career, this girl band captured attention with their unique concept: a mix of dark, dreamy, and powerful. They performed iconic songs like "Ponzona," "Zombie," and "Sweet Juice," showcasing genre exploration.
