South Korean actor Ahn Hyo Seop has been offered the role of a new drama about a cooking competition. On Wednesday (September 3, 2025), local media reported that Ahn Hyo Seop was being considered for a new drama titled "The Final Table" (working title).
The news was confirmed by his agency, which stated that the actor is currently considering the role. "This is a project that has been offered to him and is under review," a statement from the agency said.
The Korean drama The Final Table tells the story of the lives of talented chefs from around the world who gather at the competition The Table: K-Chef 2026. The cooking competition pits chefs against each other under immense pressure.
The Table K-Chef 2026 will select the best of the best. Ahn Hyo Seop was offered the role of Kang Han, a mysterious Korean chef also known as Chris K. After leaving Korea as a student, Kang Han has spent the last 25 years living abroad, much of his life a mystery to the other contestants.
To date, no other actors have been offered roles in the drama. The production company has also not yet announced a broadcast schedule for The Final Table. Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo Seop is currently busy filming his latest drama entitled 'Sold Out Again Today'.
