YouTuber Na Dong Hyeon shocked the public with the news of his passing. The owner of the channel The Great Library was found dead at his home on Saturday (September 6, 2025). 

The cause of Na Dong Hyeon's death remains a mystery. During his lifetime, Na Dong Hyeon was active as a YouTuber with 1.44 million subscribers. He was even known as one of the pioneers of live streaming in South Korea since 2002. 

In his content, he often played online games like League of Legends, Minecraft, and Warcraft. Na Dong Hyeon's passing was truly unexpected. 

Two days before he was found dead at his home, Na Dong Hyeon had attended the Seoul Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 fashion show at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. 

According to a report by Korean media outlet Harold Corp, Na Dong Hyeon was supposed to meet an acquaintance that day. However, he didn't respond when contacted. Na Dong Hyeon's friend eventually reported the unusual situation to the police. 

The Seoul Gwangjin Police Station then went to Na Dong Hyeon's home and found him dead at 8:40 a.m. KST. There was no suicide note or signs of foul play, which might have contributed to his death. 

In a recent report by Korean media outlet YTN, a police official stated that Na Dong Hyeon is suspected to have died from an illness. Police plan to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death. 

"Na Dong Hyeon is suspected to have died from an illness he was suffering from. We plan to confirm the exact cause of death through an autopsy," said an official from the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station, as reported by Koreaboo. 

Meanwhile, Na Dong Hyeon passed away at the age of 46. Besides being active as a YouTuber, he also appeared as a contestant on the Netflix show The Influencer last year.
