South Korean actor Song Kang officially completed his military service today, October 1, 2025, after serving for 1.5 years. The actor enlisted as an active duty soldier in April 2024 and has been carrying out his duties with full dedication, including completing basic military training.

During his service, Song Kang greeted fans through a promotional video for the Korean Military Counseling Center “National Defense Help Call” in December 2024. In the video, he appeared in military uniform, acted in a counseling scene, and showed off his signature smile that captivated fans' hearts.

Song Kang made his acting debut in 2017 through the drama 'She Loves Lies Too Much.' His name has soared thanks to leading roles in series such as 'Love Alarm,' 'Nevertheless,' and 'My Demon.'

Even during his military service, his popularity remained strong with the release of 'Sweet Home Season 3' on Netflix, in which he portrayed Cha Hyun Su with stunning acting. He also made a special appearance in the film 'Escape'.

Song Kang is currently reportedly considering his next acting project. Last June, his agency, Namoo Actors, stated that the drama 'Four Hands' was one of the projects the 31-year-old actor was considering.
