The donation was made on her birthday, June 18th.The hospital stated that the donation from the gunman would be allocated entirely to cover operations and medical care for child patients from families experiencing financial difficulties.
Through SM Entertainment, Stella revealed the reason behind her social action: She wanted to share the love she's received from her fans with something worthwhile. "I want to share the love I've received from my fans in a meaningful way.
I hope this can be a small boost to kids going through tough times," Stella said. He also added, "I want to continue this donation activity consistently in the future, so that the warmth and support given by fans can be conveyed to more people."
