tvN's latest drama, 'Four Hands, Two Sonatas', starring Song Kang and Lee Jun Young, made a good debut with a rating of 3.4% in its first episode which aired on Saturday August 29, 2026 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
This drama achieved first place in the same broadcast slot among cable and general channels. According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of Four Hands, Two Sonatas peaked at 4.6%, with slightly higher ratings in the Seoul metropolitan area at 3.5% and a peak of 4.7%.
The drama also dominated the ratings among viewers aged 20 to 49, a key demographic for tvN, taking first place in the same category. Four Hands, Two Sonatas tells the story of two talented young pianists, Kang Bio (Song Kang) and Choi Jung Yo (Lee Jun Young).
Their stories reconnect through music seven years after their childhood rivalry. The opening episode depicts the two's conflicting situations. Kang Bio is focused on becoming a successful pianist and gaining recognition from his grandfather, a world-renowned conductor.
