You'll be able to see Kim Woo Bin in action again on the small screen. tvN has released a new teaser for the Korean drama GIFT, which will air later this year. GIFT is adapted from a webtoon of the same name by Jungiriiri, which was first released in 2021 on Kakao.
The Korean drama version was written by Min Jeong, Hae Joo, and Seong Eun. Director Kim Kyu Tae (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo) will team up with Ham Seung Hoon to direct the drama.
Kim Woo Bin is set to lead. GIFT tells the story of a former professional baseball coach who experiences an unexpected incident. His name is Jung Min Yong, who will be played by Shin Min Ah's husband.
Because of that incident, Jung Min Yong gained a special talent. Thanks to this talent, he can immediately tell which individuals have baseball talent at a glance.
Jung Min Yong decides to become the manager of a bottom-ranked high school baseball team. With his newfound skills, he takes on the challenge of coaching the team and making them the best.
This plot is the main focus of the short teaser released by tvN, which shows Jung Min Yong and his team's training journey, ultimately leading up to their first victory. GIFT will air starting December 5, 2026.
