BLACKPINK's Jisoo is back in the spotlight after releasing a teaser for her latest song, "Addicted." This song is the second single released ahead of her full solo debut album.
The teaser gives a glimpse of the song, with the repetitive lyrics, "Got me so addicted," which immediately caught the attention of many fans. However, the response to the teaser wasn't entirely positive.
Some fans criticized Jisoo's pronunciation, which they deemed inaccurate. Many thought she sang the word "addicted" in a way that sounded like "d*ck d*ck." This sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some netizens questioning the song's content.
Several comments on Twitter show how the criticism spread. One user commented, "Why are we singing about dicks?", expressing their confusion over the misinterpretation of the lyrics. Another added, "Is she horny?", adding humor to the situation.
On October 27, 2026, a second preview of the song was released, and it again drew even more criticism. Many complained about Jisoo's song choice and vocal quality. One user even called it, "The worst song is the next one."
Other criticisms also touched on Jisoo's pronunciation, with the underlying question being, "Didn't they take vocal or pronunciation lessons before recording the song?" Despite this, Jisoo still garners significant attention from fans eagerly awaiting the song's official release.
They hope that despite the criticism, "Addicted," which will be released globally on October 30, 2026, will still be well-received. Jisoo, known as one of the visuals in the group BLACKPINK, is no stranger to the media spotlight.
Her every move is eagerly awaited by fans and music industry observers. With this comeback, many are hoping Jisoo can show a new side of herself as a solo artist. Despite the criticism, it's undeniable that Jisoo has managed to generate significant buzz among fans.
This demonstrates that despite the criticism, expectations for her artistry remain high. Fans hope that with their strong support, Jisoo can overcome any challenges and continue to shine in the music industry.
