Happy news has arrived from EJAE, the soundtrack artist for the K-pop animated film Demon Hunters, who has officially tied the knot. She is now married to music producer Samuel Kim after deciding to hold an early wedding.
As reported by the Korea JoongAng Daily, EJAE and Samuel Kim married a month earlier than their scheduled November wedding date in California, United States. The couple finally tied the knot on Saturday (October 17, 2026) in their native South Korea, at Stage28 in Godeok-dong, Gangdong District, East Seoul.
EJAE's chosen wedding venue, Stage28, stands on the former residence of her maternal grandfather, veteran actor Shin Young Kyun. The location also houses the Shin Young Kyun Arts and Culture Foundation.
EJAE had postponed her wedding plans with Sam Kim due to promotional schedules and award show appearances, following the success of the Netflix K-Pop animated film Demon Hunters.
"It was busy and a little stressful, but it was a true team effort and everything worked out perfectly," EJAE said in an exclusive interview with Vogue. The two held an intimate outdoor wedding, attended by family and close friends.
On her big day, EJAE wore a custom-designed tulle gown by designer Danielle Frankel, paired with jewelry inherited from her grandmother and passed down to her mother. "I chose simple jewelry to let the dress be the center of attention," explains EJAE.
As the party moved to the greenhouse, EJAE changed into a figure-hugging custom-designed Zac Posen chiffon gown. Later that night, EJAE changed into a sparkling minidress to dance with Sam Kim in a custom-designed Milla Nova dress.
The love story of EJAE and music producer turned computer programmer Sam Kim began with a collaboration in 2017. The two were brought together by a mutual friend for a songwriting session at Sam Kim's studio.
Their relationship quickly developed due to their shared love of anime and music. Although they initially kept things professional, one night while watching Sam Kim's roommate's band perform, he confessed his love.
After deciding to date, EJAE and Sam Kim built their life together for eight years and settled in Brooklyn, New York. It was revealed that Sam Kim had already shown serious determination by proposing to EJAE in 2025, before they finally married.
