Gionee has added a new member to its M series, dubbed the Gionee M3. The device has been launched in China. The handset also comes with a protective TPU case and tempered glass.
Gionee M3 comes with a 6.53-inch waterdrop display with an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels, a 19:9 screen aspect ratio, and has a screen-to-body ratio of up to 90%. The chipset is an octa-core SoC manufactured using a 12nm process and having a maximum frequency of 2.0GHz.
As for the cameras, there are triple rear cameras: a 16MP main camera paired with a 5MP secondary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is rated 8MP. The smartphone backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Gionee M3 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor and comes with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. Additionally, the smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 163.2 mm x 75.9 mm x 9.3 mm and weighs 201 grams.
In terms of pricing, the Gionee M3 comes with a price tag of 899 yuan (approx. Rs 10,233) and 959 yuan (approx. Rs 10,916) respectively for the 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants.
The Gionee M3 will be available top-variant with an 8GB+256GB variant priced at 1059 yuan (approx. Rs 12,058). The smartphone is already up for pre-orders at Suning and will officially go on sale on April 13.
