The Chinese brand Oppo has silently announced the Oppo A74 smartphone in certain regions. The handset features a FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 662 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Oppo A74 4G variant has a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 800 nits, DCI-P3 Colour support, up to 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone ships with ColorOS 11.1 skin based on Android 11 operating system. Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC powers the Oppo A74 with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage is further expandable via a MicroSD card.
The back panel of the Oppo A74 features a triple camera system that consists of a 48MP f/1.7 primary sensor, along with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the Oppo A74 features a 16MP camera with an FoV of 78-degrees.
It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that carries 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
Oppo A74 4G comes with a price tag of PHP 12,000 (approx Rs 18,100) for the 6GB/128GB variant and is currently on pre-order where the shipping starts in 7 days. It will go on sale in Prism Black and Midnight Blue colors.
