Oppo has just launched a mid-range smartphone with 5G networks in India, called Oppo A74 5G which is the company’s first 5G phone for under Rs. 20,000. The phone with some decent specs and features such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and triple rear cameras. It also comes with a 90Hz display and 18W fast charging support.
The Oppo A74 5G offers a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 90.5% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with Adeno 619 GPU. As for the RAM and Storage, the handset has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage capacity. Although, users can expand its storage capacity through a microSD card.
In terms of cameras, you get a triple camera setup on the back that houses a 48MP main camera with an F1.7 lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The Oppo A74 5G has provided an 8MP front camera sensor for selfies and video calling. The smartphone runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 skin on the top. The dimensions of the phone are 162.9 x 74.7 x 8.4mm and weigh around 188 grams.
The Oppo A74 5G is offering a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock as well. In terms of connectivity options, the smartphone comes with 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The company offers a USB Type-C port for charging and data transferring.
The Oppo A74 5G price in India has been set at Rs. 17,990 for the single 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage variant. You can purchase this device through Amazon.in and other retails from April 26 onwards. The smartphone is available in two color options, i.e. Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple. You also get a 10% instant discount on select bank credit cards, debit cards, and EMI transactions.
