The Vivo Y75 5G was released in India on Thursday. The smartphone, which was previewed earlier this week by the Chinese tech company, has a flat design with rounded corners and a 50-megapixel triple back camera arrangement. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery. According to Vivo, the device has an expanded RAM feature that allows users to increase accessible memory by utilizing unused space in the inbuilt storage.
The Vivo Y75 5G is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12. The smartphone has a 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display (1,080×2,408 pixels). Under the hood, the handset is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC with 8GB of RAM. Users can use the expanded RAM option to add up to 4GB of memory from unused storage, according to Vivo.
In terms of optics, a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens, and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens are included in the Vivo Y75 5G’s triple rear camera arrangement. A 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens and Vivo’s Extreme Night AI-based algorithm is also included on the smartphone.
The Vivo Y75 5G comes with 128GB of internal storage that can be increased via a microSD card slot (up to 1TB). For connectivity options, the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, and FM radio. The device has a 5,000mAh battery and supports USB Type-C fast charging at 18W. According to Vivo, the Y75 5G dimensions 164×75.84×8.25mm and weighs 188 grams, including a metallic ornamental ring.
For pricing and availability, the Vivo Y75 5G is priced at INR. 21,990(NPR 35,184) in India, and it will be offered in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. According to Vivo, the smartphone is currently available for purchase on the Vivo India E-store and partner retail outlets in the Glowing Galaxy and Starlight Black color variants.
