Honor announced their new GS 3 Smartwatch for global markets during their MWC 2022 launch. This Honor Watch GS 3 has already been released in the Chinese market and caters to urban buyers. Based on the previous Watch GS generations, this new one too gets the same design and build, with Honor’s RTOS running the show.
The Honor Watch GS 3 features a design inspired by classic mechanical watches. It is made out of 316L stainless steel and weighs just 44g. It packs a circular 1.43-inch 3D curved OLED panel which is contoured towards the edges. The watch gets 32MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage to store apps and data. While both Honor and Huawei have been separated, Honor still uses the Huawei Fit app, which is used for pairing the GS 3 with either an Android or iOS device.
Along with this, the Honor Watch GS 3 is also capable of tracking 100+ fitness modes, which is on par with the competition. For runners, there is a built-in L1/L5 Dual Frequency GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), a 5ATM rating, and a battery that lasts up to 14 days, and quick charging technology promises one day of use in just five minutes of charging.
The Honor Watch GS 3 gets a new eight-channel PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor module that detects precise optical signals, thereby improving the accuracy of the metrics. The watch gets sleep tracking, SpO2 monitoring, real-time heart rate monitoring, street detection and more. Available in a variety of colour options, the Watch GS 3 surely has a captivating look.
For official pricing and availability, the Honor Watch GS 3 comes in multiple options, with the Midnight Black model going for €229 ( around ₹19,400), the Ocean Blue, and the Classic Gold model with a leather strap going for €249 (around ₹21,085). There is still no word on the availability, but we hope the watch will be up for sale sometime in the spring.
