HONOR has unveiled its X9 5G smartphone in the Malaysian market. No details regarding its availability in India have been disclosed. The handset sports a large 6.81-inch IPS LCD screen, a powerful Snapdragon 695 chipset, a triple rear camera setup, and a 4,800mAh battery pack with fast-charging support. Notably, the device also offers support for face unlocking.

The HONOR X9 serves as the global version of the brand's X30 device, which was introduced in China in December 2021. It is a good-looking smartphone with decent specifications and should attract many customers in Malaysia. If the phone heads to India in the future, the competition in the market will be raised to a great extent.

The HONOR X9 bears a 6.81-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2388 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone has an edge-to-edge display with a punch-hole cut-out, a slim bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the rear, there is a circular camera unit.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the HONOR X9 has a triple rear camera module, comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth unit. On the front, there is a 16MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling. The smartphone packs a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support.

Under the hood, the HONOR X9 draws juice from a Snapdragon 695 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11-based Magic UI 4.2. To ensure connectivity, the smartphone offers support for Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, the 5G network, and a Type-C port.

No details related to the official pricing and availability of the HONOR X9 in Malaysia are currently available. The handset will be available in three color options, namely Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Ocean Blue. Moreover, it is unclear whether this smartphone will be introduced in our market in the near future.
