Chinese tech company, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its latest flagship device, namely the 12 Pro, in India. In the latest development, the official price of the smartphone has surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar. As per the leak, the handset will start in India at Rs. 65,000. Previously, a microsite of the 12 Pro was spotted on Amazon India, suggesting an imminent debut.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro bears a 6.73-inch QHD+ (1440x3200 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1,500-nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The smartphone features a punch-hole cut-out on the top-center, slim bezels, curved edges, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Xiaomi 12 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP (f/1.9, OIS) primary sensor, a 50MP (f/1.9) telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 50MP (f/2.2) 115-degree ultra-wide shooter. Up front, it offers a 32MP wide camera for taking selfies and video calling. The front and rear cameras can film 1080p videos at 30/60fps and 8K videos at 24fps, respectively.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. At the heart, it runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box and houses a 4,600mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless fast-charging support. For connectivity options, the smartphone supports Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, NFC, and a Type-C port.

The official pricing and availability details of the Xiaomi 12 Pro in India will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch. However, as per the latest leak, it is expected to start at Rs. 65,000. The smartphone comes in Gray, Blue, Purple, and Green colour options. The handset will be sold via e-commerce platform store Amazon.
