BTS's Suga has been officially fined for drunk driving on a scooter. On Monday September 30, 2024, the Seoul Court announced the amount of the fine that BTS's Suga must pay. The controversial case of BTS's Suga did not go to trial. He was found drunk from his electric scooter on Tuesday August 6, 2024 night.

The BTS K-pop member was then helped by a police officer who was patrolling near his apartment. After being examined, BTS's Suga was proven to be driving while drunk. His blood alcohol content was 0.227% and exceeded the maximum limit of 0.08% for someone who has lost their driver's license.

According to HYBE's report, the owner of the real name Min Yoongi has lost his driver's license. He complied with the summons to the Yongsan Police Station and apologized to the media crew, Friday August 23, 2024. Furthermore, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office Criminal Division 2 issued a new ruling for BTS's Suga on Tuesday September 10, 2024.

The court will impose a fine based on the South Korean Traffic Act. So Suga will not go through the trial process for his case. Previously, BTS's Suga was reportedly facing a prison sentence of two to five years in prison. With a fine of 10 million to 20 million won. Now the Seoul Court has officially decided that BTS's Suga will be sentenced to a fine of 15 million won.

This is the same amount of fine that was previously requested by the prosecutor on September 11, 2024. The fine was issued because BTS Suga's case was considered relatively light. If he refuses, Suga can request a trial within seven days after the Seoul Court issues the order.
