The MTV Europe Music Awards 2022 officially shared the list of nominees on Wednesday October 12, 2022. One of the musicians who stole the show was Taylor Swift . The musician from the United States made it into six categories at the same time at the MTV EMA 2022. The singer whose nickname is Tay Tay is the female artist who has received the most nominations at the 2022 MTV EMA.
Meanwhile, her professional partner Harry Styles is the artist who dominates the acquisition of nominations in the event. Taylor Swift received a nomination in the Best Video category thanks to All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version) which will compete with music videos Pink Venom (Blackpink), As It Was (Harry Styles), The Heart Part 5 (Kendrick Lamar), Woman (Doja Cat), and Super Freaky Girl (Nicki Minaj).
She was also nominated for five other categories consisting of Best Artist, Best Pop, Biggest Fans, Best US Act, and the latest category at MTV EMAS 2022, Best Longform Video. In the Best US Act category, Taylor Swift competed with five other famous US artists namely Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Jack Harlow, Lil Nas X, and Lizzo.
Fans can immediately provide support by voting as much as possible until November 9, 2022 through the website www.mtvema.com. The culmination of the world music awards ceremony which has been started since 1994 will be held in Düsseldorf, Germany on 13 November.
At the 2021 MTV EMAs, Taylor Swift received three nominations in the Best Video category for her song Willow, Biggest Fans, and Best US Act. In the event held last year, Taylor Swift won the Best US Act category. Taylor Swift is now preparing to release her 10th studio album, Midnights, which will be out on October 21.
Midnights contains 12 new songs from Taylor Swift including her collaboration with Lana Del Rey which is on the fourth track. He also shared a leak of the meaning behind his three newest songs, namely Anti-Hero, Lavender Haze, and Snow On The Beach through a short video on Instagram. Taylor Swift also starred in the comedy thriller, Amsterdam, which has been airing since October 7 in theaters.
