TIME also praised BLACKPINK's achievements as a K-Pop group that dominates a number of world charts. They also managed to break a number of records after releasing their second album, BORN PINK.
BLACKPINK became the girl group with the highest album sales after releasing BORN PINK. They are also musicians with the most subscribers on YouTube. After being appointed TIME's Entertainer of the Year, BLACKPINK also said that what they have achieved so far is because of their love for the world of music. "We are happiest when we are playing music," explained BLACKPINK.
