J-Hope will be the 2nd member of BTS who will soon be carrying out his mandatory military duties. We want to inform fans that J-Hope is in the process of enlisting in the military by sending a letter canceling the postponement of military service," said BIGHIT Music. They continued, "We will announce further information at the appointed time. 

We ask for the fans' support for J-Hope until he returns safely to carry out his mandatory military service." "Our company will provide unlimited support for our artists. Thank you," concluded BIGHIT Music. With this, J-Hope will become the 2nd member of BTS who will carry out his mandatory military duties. 

Following Jin, who had registered in December 2022. J-Hope is also rumored to be carrying out his mandatory military service as an active soldier. Fans are saddened by the news of J-Hope's planned departure.
