P Diddy's mother, Janice Combs, is concerned about her son's case. After keeping quiet for a while, she finally spoke out to defend her son who is facing serious allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
"It is incredibly painful to see my child judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created from lies," Janice said in a statement to Page Six via her attorney on Sunday October 6, 2024. According to him, Diddy, whose real name is Sean John Combs, was treated unfairly and should have had the opportunity to defend himself.
He was very disappointed that Diddy did not get the chance to express the facts from his side. "To witness what appeared to be the hanging of my son before he had a chance to prove his innocence is a pain beyond words. Like any other human being, my son has the right to present his defense and prove himself right," he added.
P Diddy has stumbled upon a number of serious cases. Not only allegations of sexual abuse that reportedly involve dozens of minors, the charges against the 54-year-old rapper and businessman include sex trafficking, extortion, and mafia. As a consequence, Sean Diddy Combs was arrested in Manhattan after being indicted by a grand jury on September 16, 2024.
One of Diddy's attorneys, Marc Agnifilo, also expressed disappointment with the decision. "Combs has been very cooperative in this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please suspend your judgment until you have all the facts," Marc Agnifilo said.
