SHINee's Key is in talks to become Jack Daniels' new model. Through the official social media @ shinee, it was seen that this veteran rapper attended an event held by Jack Daniels on Friday, February 24, 2023. But apparently, he has not become an official model of the beverage brand.
So, on the occasion of the fansign which was held on Saturday February 25, 2023, Key asked fans for help to urge Jack Daniels via Instagram, to choose him to be the brand ambassador for this famous whiskey drink. Key's joke also made the Shawols who were present at the event laugh.
Even so, they hope to help the idol in order to reach the desired agreement. Known as a cheerful and humorous idol, Key often makes jokes. As well as asking fans for help to pressure Jack Daniels to choose him as the new official model, Key also joked that he was worried about promoting albums with the other SHINee members.
"I'm waiting and very enthusiastic about SHINee's comeback soon on our 15th anniversary, but I can't imagine having to do promotions with them," said the "Killer" singer quoted via Instagram @shinee is life. Being a model for a beverage brand is not Key's first. Previously, he was also a model of "Jinro", a soju brand in Korea.
In fact, after being a model for this brand for two years, last August, Key was entrusted with concocting his own drink recipe. So, Key hopes to return to being a model for a beverage brand. Uniquely, not only Key, other SHINee members, namely Minho were also lined up as a model for whiskey, Ballentine. This fact also makes fans excited.
The reason is, both of them are known as "Tom and Jerry" in the group, so they often tease each other. The competition between the two rappers born in 1991 will also be fun in the eyes of fans. "Key and Minho invite us to get drunk," joked one fan on social media. "Wow, we will have models for two different whiskeys," added another.
