Lee Ji Hoon Has a Three-Floor Building Worth 6.87 billion won in Gangnam, Handsome and Rich

Actor Lee Je Hoon is confirmed to have become a co-owner of a building in Gangnam , Seoul. Reporting from KBIZoom Thursday May 25, 2023, according to a report by Hankyung Dotcom, the Taxi Driver star has signed a contract to buy a three-story building located in Samsung-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 6.87 billion won in November 2021.

In April last year, Lee Je Hoon applied for a change in the use of the building to a residential facility, and one month later, he paid the rest. Currently, the new building is under construction. The area around the building is designated as a land transaction permit zone in Gangnam-gu, along with Daechi-dong and Cheongdam-dong. The building must be used for trading purposes.  

This led to speculation that Lee Je Hoon bought the building to use as the office building for his company, Company On Inc, where he is still listed as CEO of the company. Director of Road Development Kim Won Hyun explained, "This area is near Gangnam Office Station, which is a transfer station between Line 7 and Suin Bundang Line, and is adjacent to various government offices, such as Gangnam Medical Center, district office, and tax office." 

He added, "This is an ordinary office commercial district where large-scale office construction is underway, starting with the main street of Seolleung-ro."  Kim Won Hyun also said that the land in Samsung-dong, as well as the public housing area in Nonhyeon-dong that was purchased by Lee Je Hoon recently experienced an increase in price, ranging from 110 million won to 130 million won per 3.3 square meters. 

In other words, Lee Je Hoon has made a significant profit when he bought 3.3 square meters for 89.95 million won. Considering that Lee Je Hoon is an actor who already has a big name, it's no wonder he was able to buy a building in Gangnam, which is known as an elite trading and residential area. 

Lee Je Hoon is known through several popular dramas, such as 'Fashion King', 'Signal', 'Tomorrow With You', 'Where Stars Land', 'Move To Heaven', as well as 'Taxi Driver' season one and two. This year he also has a new drama project, namely 'Chief Inspector 1963' which is a drama by MBC.
