South Korean actor Park Hyung Sik suddenly became the center of attention and became trending on social media. Because Park Hyung Sik is said to be the most expensive actor in Korea. Local media said the title for the most expensive South Korean actor is now held by Park Hyung Sik.

Quoting Vnexpress , the 33-year-old man reportedly received a fee of 500 Million won per episode to star in the drama Doctor Slump in 2024. Through the drama, Hyung Sik received a payment of 8 billion won for 16 episodes. 

He is also said to have successfully negotiated for a higher payment in his latest project, Buried Hearts. In comparison, senior actors such as Hyun Bin are paid US$84,000, So Ji Sub and Jo In Sung are said to be paid US$67,000, Lee Min Ho US$62,000, and Lee Seung Gi is paid US$59,000 per episode.

Park Hyung Sik initially debuted as a member of the boy group ZE:A in 2010. He debuted through his first single album, Navity. Wanting to develop his talents, Park Hyung Sik then debuted as an actor in 2012. He first starred in the SBS drama special I Remember You.
