Let's Peek at the Facts from NewJeans' Haerin, Officially 17 Years Old

The second youngest member of the NewJeans group, Haerin recently celebrated her 17th birthday. Known to be the quietest among the other NewJeans members, Haerin turns out to have many interesting facts to know, especially NewJeans fans. Come on, get closer to Haerin through the facts below!

1. The newest DIOR Global Ambassador

Via Instagram @dior on April 26, 2023, Dior uploaded a series of photos of Haerin showing off several collections belonging to the luxury fashion brand from France. Not just wearing it, posts from Dior also confirm that this girl born in 2006 has just been lined up to become the newest brand ambassador for Dior in the jewelery and beauty category. 

2. Nicknamed "Sound Fairy" because of her melodious voice

Thanks to the beautiful voice that has become addictive among her fans, Haerin is nicknamed  Fairy Voice  (voice fairy) among the other NewJeans members. He got his bright talent thanks to his experience playing pansori in the past, a type of traditional Korean music that uses the human voice as an instrument.

3. Have a visual face similar to a cat

Not only known as a voice fairy, Haerin also has another nickname, Kitty Kang. This title stuck with Haerin because she has a pair of cat-like eyes. When NewJeans released the OMG MV, Haerin was also described as an adorable cat figure. In fact, he often makes movements or sounds like a cat, which makes him look more like a real cat. 

4. Haerin likes frogs

So far, Haerin is known to be a fan of frogs. This fact is shown in a video uploaded on the Vogue Korea Youtube channel about "What's in your bag"  entitled "A beautiful frog appeared in Haerin's bag?" Showing the bag designed by Dior, Haerin then started removing the contents of the bag which made the audience focus wrong. 

There is one  frog-character pouch  that doesn't go unnoticed. "When I saw it, I told myself to get it. And they only had one left, so I bought it immediately," said Haerin while buying a pouch  of her favorite frog.  Those were the facts about NewJeans' Haerin that turned out to be really adorable, right?
