Jung Hae In is considering a Japanese drama, not a Korean work, as his next acting project. According to an OSEN report on October 18, 2024, Jung Hae In has been offered the male lead role in a Japanese drama after completing the film 'I, The Executioner' or 'Veteran 2' and the drama 'Love Next Door'.
He is currently positively considering it. Jung Hae In previously worked with Japanese genre film director Takashi Miike on the Disney+ original series 'Connect', which was released in 2022. At that time, the series was officially invited to the 'On Screen' section of the 27th Busan International Film Festival, which attracted worldwide attention.
However, 'Connect' was planned and produced by Studio Dragon as a joint Korean-Japanese production. Jung Hae In has met Japanese fans through fan meetings before, but has never appeared in a Japanese work.
