Nobody Wants This starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell has been confirmed to return for a second season on Netflix. The platform's Chief Content Officer stated that it will retain the romantic and comedic elements that have become its trademark, but with several new team members joining.

Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan are now serving as executive producers on the series, while writers have yet to be announced. Other producers involved include Erin Foster, Sara Foster, Kristen Bell, Steven Levitan, and Oly Obst, with 20th Television as the producing studio.

The first season that aired at the end of last month successfully attracted many viewers and scored high ratings on the Rotten Tomatoes site. They were very enthusiastic and wanted to see more chemistry between Adam Brody and Kristen Bell in the next season. According to reports, Nobody Wants This is projected to be one of the most popular romantic comedy series.

Although it only ranked second in its first week, the series managed to rank first the following week. Nobody Wants This tells the story of the unexpected relationship between Joanne (Kristen Bell), an outspoken agnostic woman, and Noah (Adam Brody), a newly single rabbi. From their first meeting at a dinner party, they immediately realize there is something special between them.

But apparently there are many obstacles in their relationship: different views on life, and interference from family members who often complicate things. Nobody Wants This production was greenlit by Netflix in March 2023 and appointed Erin Foster and Craig DiGregorio as executive producers.

However, with very limited time and the WGA writers strike that lasted for five months, the production schedule was quite tight. The cast and crew began filming in January 2023 to ensure the release schedule could stay on track. More details about the second season of Nobody Wants This will be announced soon. The first season, which consists of 10 episodes, is already available on Netflix.
