Following the official announcement letter from SM Entertainment regarding RIIZE's Seunghan return from hiatus, the idol immediately expressed his feelings through a handwritten letter to fans. In the letter he uploaded on the Weverse page on Friday October 11, 2024, the idol once again apologized profusely to fans for past events.

Quoting from Allkpop, Seunghan said, "Hello, this is Seunghan. First of all, I sincerely apologize to the members and fans. When the pre-debut photos were circulated, I felt great disappointment and regret for my past actions."

"I'm sure the members are also facing greater difficulties. As well as the fans, who I'm sure must be angry, shocked, and disappointed. I apologize to everyone who has supported me from the beginning of my career and those who were hurt by my irresponsible actions," he added.

In more detail, the idol born in 2003 expressed his guilt towards the RIIZE members, when he decided to go on hiatus suddenly. Seunghan also apologized to those who had to work hard and do many things because of the sudden change due to his decision to go on hiatus.

While feeling disappointed with himself all this time, Seunghan also admitted to being very desperate because he couldn't do many activities with the other members. Because of that, he started to question himself whether he could still stand on stage and make music again.

Although he was initially afraid of being a burden and tarnishing the achievements of the RIIZE group that the 6 members and staff had made, Seunghan gained confidence to return to the stage from those who believed in him. That's why he tried hard to change and do his best.

Closing his long letter to fans, Seunghan promised that he would take responsibility to become a good RIIZE member and be useful to his team. Since Seunghan decided to go on hiatus in November 2023, 2 months since RIIZE debuted in September, RIIZE has been actively promoting with 6 members. Now Seunghan will be active again with RIIZE starting next November 2024.
