During the interview session, Jung Hae In and Jung So Min showed off their unique relationship, creating a warm atmosphere. The two were also asked about how they felt on the last day of filming Love Next Door. “It didn’t feel real.
We agreed to stop each other from crying, but on that day we were both confused and wondering if filming was really over,” Jung So Min replied. Jung Hae In shared, “Even after filming ended, I still lingered and couldn’t leave. I missed the filming set.”
When asked to say a few words to Jung Hae In’s character, Choi Seung Hyo, as Jung So Min, the actress replied, “I hope you live a long, happy, and healthy life, and receive lots of love from Seok Ryu.” Likewise, Jung Hae In was asked to say a few words to Jung So Min's character, Baek Seok Ryu, the actor said with a laugh, "Keep your promise."
The final episode of Love Next Door was broadcast on October 6, 2024. Based on data from Nielsen Korea, the 16th episode of Love Next Door managed to record a nationwide rating of 8.4 percent, breaking the record for the drama itself.
The love story of Jung Hae In and Jung So Min's characters in Love Next Door was previously feared by the audience to end in a sad ending. This is because of several theories made by fans about the death of Baek Seok Ryu who had suffered from cancer.
