SEVENTEEN's The8 has been confirmed to be preparing to release his solo debut album in the near future. The album titled Stardust is planned to be released on December 4, 2024. News regarding The8's solo debut album came from Pledis Entertainment as the agency that oversees SEVENTEEN on Thursday November 21, 2024 KST.

2024.12.04 11:00 KST," the agency tweeted announcing the release of Stardust's album which will be available on December 4, 2024 at 9 a.m. Indonesian time. Stardust will be The8's first Mandarin-language album, considering that the SEVENTEEN member was born in China with the real name Xu Minghao, who was born in Liaoning Province in 1997.
Throughout his musical career, The8 has previously released three solo singles, starting from Side By Side (2021), Hai Cheng (2022), and A Bit of Summer (2022). He has also participated in writing and producing many songs for SEVENTEEN.
On the other hand, Pledis Entertainment will release the tracklist for the Stardust album on November 23, 2024 at 12:07 KST or 10:07 WIB. Meanwhile, there is no further information regarding the number of songs in the Stardust album to the genre and concept that will be used for the upcoming album.
The8 is also busy with a concert tour schedule with SEVENTEEN in a concert titled SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR. In the latest concert, there are two SEVENTEEN personnel who are confirmed to be absent, namely Jeonghan and Jun.
Jeonghan is currently starting his military service so he will not be able to join SEVENTEEN's concert tour schedule, while Jun is busy with an acting project in China during the same time frame, so both of them will not be joining the latest concert tour series, including in Indonesia.
SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR comes after the boy group who sang the song HOT completed the encore leg for the FOLLOW concert which took place in South Korea and Japan. The 13-member group has also been confirmed to perform in Indonesia on February 8 and 9, 2025 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
