South Korean actor Byeon Woo Seok is in the spotlight after successfully winning the 2024 Asia Artist Awards or AAA 2024. Woo Seok took home six trophies thanks to his role in the drama Lovely Runner.
Of the six trophies, he also won the highest trophy or daesang. Byeon Woo Seok came wearing a black suit at the event held at Thammasat Stadium, Bangkok on Friday December 27, 2024. He then sat next to actress Kim Hye Yoon, his co-star in the drama Lovely Runner.
The 33-year-old man won awards in the categories of Best Actor of the Year, Best OST, Best Couple, Popularity, Best Artist and Asia Celebrity. Successfully bringing home six trophies, Byeon Woo Seok also expressed his gratitude. He also mentioned Kim Hye Yoon's name in his speech.
"I want to thank Kim Hye Yoon who is right next to me. I got Best Couple, thank you," Byeon Woo Seok's speech was full. This victory made Byeon Woo Seok's figure in the spotlight and trending on social media.
Moreover, he managed to beat actor Kim Soo Hyun who went home with four trophies. Quoting Allkpop, Kim Soo Hyun is known to have won four AAA 2024 trophies in the Fabulous Award, Hot Trend Award, Best Artist Award and Artist of the Year categories thanks to the drama Queen of Tears.
