Son Suk Ku is still a loyal guest star on the YouTube program hosted by Yoo In Na. In a video released on February 25, 2025, the actor opened up about his romance with his ex-girlfriend. The video initially shows a listener sharing how, after ending a five-year relationship, her ex posted a photo of her engagement ring with her new partner just a month later.

Playing the role of an ex-boyfriend, Suk Ku answered, "Did I act well? I think I did because I really felt close to this story." Suk Ku then revealed that he had been in a similar situation! "I was actually the one who suggested breaking up. We met overseas, but I came back to Korea, and we broke up after a long-distance relationship," he said.

Suk Ku added, "We agreed to remain friends, but then I found out that my ex-girlfriend was in a relationship with someone new." The actor recalled that he was furious at the time. "I got really mad at her over video chat, and said, 'Isn't this too much?'" Suk Ku added. Hearing this, In Na jokingly reprimanded him, saying, "But you're the one who wanted to break up?"

Suk Ku laughed and admitted, “Yeah, this really feels like my own story.” Curious about his opinion, In Na asked, “How long should one wait before dating again out of respect? ”Suk Ku replied, “I think it’s best not to make it too obvious to your ex-girlfriend, but at the same time, you have to get over her at some point.” The actor even created a “breakup schedule” rule.

"If you've been dating for two years, wait two months. If you've been dating for three years, wait three months," Suk Ku said. After that, they discussed the story of a woman who suspected her boyfriend was lying after he disappeared for a day. The reason? He was in the hospital because his mother had fainted, but his sister's social media posts tell a different story.

Suk Ku commented, "There's a possibility that he did something suspicious. But when you start to think that being cheated on means you lose, the relationship becomes difficult to maintain." Suk Ku added, "Even so, if you care about the person, you should try to trust them. But if doubts keep growing, you'll only make yourself miserable."

In Na asked, "You sound like you have a healthy mindset about relationships. But you must have made some stupid mistakes, right?" Laughing, Suk Ku admitted, "Of course! As you get older, you gain more experience. I was wrongly accused before, and when I got home, I found all my things destroyed. When you're young and passionately in love, you don't really know how to handle things."
