JYJ's Kim Jaejoong (Hero Jaejoong) is known to have 8 older sisters with the oldest having an age difference of up to 20 years from him. With a fairly large number of older siblings, Jaejoong also has around 13 nieces and nephews. One of Jaejoong's nieces is apparently married and pregnant.

On another occasion, Jaejoong's stepmother once revealed the reason why she adopted the idol when he was still a baby.
