BOYNEXTDOOR just made a comeback with their latest album titled No Genre. A week after its release, the album has already sold over 1 million copies! According to records from the Hanteo music site reported by Korea JoongAng Daily on Tuesday May 20, 2025.
The album No Genre has sold a total of 1,166,419 since its release on Tuesday May 13, 2025 to Monday May 19, 2025. The brilliant first week sales prove BOYNEXTDOOR's position as the hottest group today. The No Genre album also set a record for the group known as BONEDO.
This is because since their debut in 2023, this is the first time they have achieved physical album sales of over 1 million copies. No Genre's album sales increased by about one and a half times from the KOZ Entertainment artist's previous release.
Last year's 19.99 album recorded sales of 759,156 in its first week of release alone. What's even more proud is that BOYNEXTDOOR achieved sales of 1 million copies for the album No Genre just 5 days after its release.
It's definitely worth celebrating, really! The No Genre album contains 7 tracks including their viral song before the album was released IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU. I Feel Good is the mainstay song on this album.
The latter song was also released in two versions. The Korean version of I Feel Good is placed on track 2 while the English version is on the last track. The total streaming of songs on the No Genre album has reached 39.8 million on Spotify.
It has the potential to catch up with the streaming figures for the 19.99 album which has currently reached 87 million streams on the same platform. In Japan, the No Genre album is also popular among local fans and music listeners.
