Kim Tae Ri won the Best Actress award at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards held on May 5, 2025, thanks to her extraordinary performance in the tvN drama, Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born. This award adds a new chapter that confirms his increasingly brilliant acting career.
The Baeksang Arts Awards, established in 1965, is one of the most prestigious arts awards in Korea, honoring the best works in television, film and theater. Kim Tae Ri's recognition this year has further strengthened her influence, both in the eyes of audiences and critics.
In the drama Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born , Kim plays Yoon Jeong-nyeon, a talented woman who dreams of becoming a national theater star (gukgeuk). With her stunning acting and vocal abilities, Kim has managed to capture the attention of audiences from all walks of life, even earning praise for bringing to life a lesser-known genre and historical period in the entertainment world.

This win marks Kim Tae Ri's second Baeksang Best Actress award, having won the same award in 2022 for her role in Twenty-Five Twenty-One.
