South Korean actor Kwon Yul, who recently starred in the Korean dramas My Sweet Mobster (2024) and Connection (2024) has announced happy news. He is getting married! J.Wide Company management confirmed the news on Monday May 19, 2025, reported by Korea JoongAng Daily. 

Kwon Yul will marry his non-celebrity girlfriend. "He met someone very special, someone he wants to spend the rest of his life with, and they will be getting married this weekend," the management said. The wedding is planned to be held privately. 

As is usually done by South Korean celebrities if their partners are not artists like them. The wedding ceremony will be held in Seoul on May 24, 2025. The event will be attended by the bride and groom's closest friends and extended family.

"The location is a secret, in Seoul," continued J.Wide Company. Kwon Yul started his career in the South Korean entertainment world as a theater actor in 2001. At that time he was involved in a production entitled Carmen.

After that, he was involved in many big screen film productions. One of the famous ones is Roaring Currents (2014) as Lee Whe. The film directed by director Kim Han Min also stars senior actors Choi Min Sik to Park Bo Gum.

On the small screen, the actor who was born on June 29, 1982 last appeared as a cameo in the Korean drama production Cinderella at 2AM (2024), the OCN crime series Voice (season 2 and season 3), Let's Eat 2 (2015), Brain (2011), and Mackarel Run (2007) with Lee Minho.
