The latest Korean drama starring Lee Jun Ho and Kim Min Ha, entitled 'Typhoon Family', released new stills ahead of its broadcast. 'Typhoon Family' follows the journey of Kang Tae Poong (played by Lee Jun Ho), a budding entrepreneur who suddenly finds himself at the helm of a struggling trading company with no employees, no money, and nothing left to sell during the IMF crisis in 1997.
In the newly released photos, we see Kang Tae Poong, a young man who once ruled Apgujeong, and Oh Mi Seon (played by Kim Min Ha), a smart accountant. Both of them attracted attention because they revived the typical fashion style of 1997 with their own charm. Tae Poong reflects his free and bold spirit through a variety of styles.
He pairs a black leather jacket and a loose shirt with chain accessories to reflect the principle of "live in style, die in style." She also showcased 1990s youth fashion with a shiny jacket and blue racing jumper. The colorful stripes complemented her look, giving the impression of someone from that era.
In contrast, Mi Seon's style captures the neat and warm charm of a working woman of that time. She created an elegant look with her signature touches through pieces such as a floral-embroidered knit sweater, a Nordic patterned sweater, and a blue cable-knit cardigan paired with a red plaid skirt. This style of dress accentuated her role as a savvy accountant.
Her straight hair and natural makeup complemented her 1997 office look. Regarding the actors' choice of fashion style, the drama production team has given their reasons. "The colorful 1997 OOTDs brought to life by actors Lee Junho and Kim Min Ha will offer a new layer of enjoyment.
