Yoon Ji On recently stumbled upon a case of drunk driving or Driving Under the Influence (DUI). Through his official statement on Instagram, Yoon Ji On admitted that he was riding a motorbike while drunk and parked his vehicle on the side of the road without permission. For his actions, Yoon Ji On wrote an apology and said he would pay for all losses incurred.
"I feel deeply saddened and apologize for having to share this unfortunate news. On September 16, I was so drunk that I couldn't remember my actions and made the mistake of riding a motorcycle without a permit that was parked on the road. I have admitted to all charges and am currently assessing the damages," Yoon Ji On wrote, as seen on Wednesday September 17, 2025.
"My reckless actions have caused pain and disappointment to many who support me, and I am deeply ashamed. I apologize. I will live with vigilance and remorse for the rest of my life to ensure this never happens again, " he continued.
Due to this controversy, Yoon Ji On also decided to withdraw from the drama Positively Yours which was scheduled to film in December 2025. The webtoon Positively Yours follows a high school teacher named Jang Heewon who accidentally becomes pregnant after a one-night stand with a strange man, who is later revealed to be the school board chairman.
