EXO has some exciting news for EXO-Ls. The SM Entertainment group is ready to debut a new duo sub-unit! Ahead of the EXhOrizon concert tour finale this weekend. EXO will have another duo group after EXO-SC (Sehun and Chanyeol).

The official name hasn't been announced yet, but what's certain is that this duo will consist of Sehun and Kai. As reported by Newsen via Soompi on Monday (November 2, 2026), SM Entertainment confirmed that EXO, Kai, and Sehun will release an album in December.

"Kai and Sehun will be releasing their mini album this December as a new unit of EXO. Please pay attention!" the management said in a short statement. Kai and Sehun are known to fans as EXO's two youngest members. They were both born in 1994, just three months apart (Kai was born in January, Sehun in April).

On various occasions, the two members have often showcased their chemistry. EXO-Ls have often referred to them as the Kai-Hun duo since EXO's debut in 2012. In 2025, Sehun was a special guest at Kai's solo concert and performed with him.

This sparked nostalgia for fans who had followed EXO's journey since their debut, as the two members were always in the spotlight as the main dancers. In 2012, SM Entertainment released a teaser for EXO's debut song "Run&Gun."

The teaser featured Kai and Sehun in a studio with a plain white background, dancing the song's choreography. SM Entertainment hasn't released the song "Run&Gun" yet. Will it be included on the new sub-unit's debut album?
