The much-awaited smartphone “OnePlus 9RT” has been launched officially in China on Wednesday. It is the latest smartphone of the OnePlus 9-series and an upgraded version of the OnePlus 9R. The new handset comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 120Hz display, a 4,500mAh battery with a 65W Wrap charger, and 50MP triple rear cameras.
The OnePlus 9RT runs on ColorOS 11 based Android 11 Operating System out of the box. The phone comes with a dual-SIM slot with 5G networks and features a 6.62-inch full-HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display. The display carries up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. For security, it has an on-screen fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock. The front penal is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
In terms of camera, the OnePlus 9RT features a triple rear camera module with dual-LED flash. The rear penal has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, EIS, and an f/1.8 lens, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling, there is a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with an f/2.4 lens. . Speaking about battery, it packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Wrap Charge fast charging technology.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 9RT has a Snapdragon 888 chipset and Adreno 660 GPU. The OnePlus 9RT is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. OnePlus has offered dual stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos sound.
The OnePlus 9RT price has been set at CNY 3,299 for the base 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant and CNY 3,499 for the mid-line 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model. There is also a top-of-the-line 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage model that carries a price tag of CNY 3,700. Customers can purchase the smartphone in Dark Matter, Hacker Silver, and Blue Sky Enchantment color options.
