South Korean actor Kim Woo Bin will be showcasing his extraordinary abilities in tvN's latest Korean drama, GIFT. The sports drama has just introduced its main character through the release of its first poster.
According to Soompi on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, GIFT, adapted from a popular webtoon, tells the story of a former pitching coach for a professional baseball team whose life changes after an accident.
He then becomes the head coach of the lowest-ranked high school baseball team in the nation. Kim Woo Bin plays Jung Min Yong, a trainer who previously believed in the importance of effort and process.
However, an accident gives him extraordinary abilities that change his perspective on talent. Jung Min Yong can now discern someone's baseball ability with just a glance.
This ability has become his new asset when he has to manage a school team that's at the bottom of the standings. The first poster shows Jung Min Yong standing in the middle of a field, confidently looking at the camera.
Surrounding him are members of the baseball team, each with their backs to the camera. Scorecards can be seen floating above the heads of the players surrounding Jun Min Young.
These cards provide insight into Jung Min Yong's special abilities. The latest poster also includes the phrase "The answer is starting to appear before my eyes!" GIFT is scheduled to premiere on tvN on December 5, 2026.
