Vivo has just launched its latest smartphone in India, called Vivo Y31. The new handset comes with a large display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, and triple rear camera sensors. The company offers us a waterdrop-style display as they have embedded a selfie camera on the middle top of the device.
Vivo Y31 offers a 6.58-inch Halo full-view display that provides users a wide screen for both games and videos. It has a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and P3 color gamut. Vivo claims that the display filers blue light to prevent eye strain. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC paired with a 2GHz octa-core CPU and Adreno 610 GPU.
The Vivo Y31 supports a triple camera sensor on the back panel that includes a 48MP main camera sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 2MP bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2MP depth macro unit sensor with an f/2.4 lens. It features a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens. The design makes it very slim and awesome that measures 163.86 x 75.32 x 8.38mm and weighs around 188 grams.
The Vivo Y31 provides a 5,000mAh battery with AL power technology that supports 18W fast charging so users can charge their phone up to 70% in just 64 minutes. Connectivity are dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Other options include 4G LTE, GPS, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. Thankfully, there is also a 3.5 headphone jack.
As for the RAM and storage, the Vivo Y31 has 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, but it also comes with a microSD card that can be expanded up to 1TB. For biometric scan, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which is located in the power button, so you can turn on and unlock the display at the same time.
As for the official pricing and availability, the Vivo Y31 which carries a price tag of Rs. 16,490 for the lone 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant. The smartphone is available for purchase through Vivo India e-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm and offline store in India as well.
