Vivo Y73S 5G is the cheapest 5G offering from Vivo till now but not the cheapest 5G among all the brands. Realme V3 is the world’s cheapest 5G smartphone with the same MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC that is equipped on the Y73S 5G. The handset is already spotted on TENAA with model Number V2031A and already the key specifications were revealed at that time but the name is not known.
Vivo Y73S 5G comes with a 6.44 inches waterdrop notch AMOLED Display with FHD+ ( 1080 X 2400 pixels ) resolution along with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display supports 103 percent NTSC color gamut, HDR10, and offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.1 percent. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC coupled with Arm Mali G57-class GPU. The device is running on Android 10 with FunTouch OS 10 on top.
The Vivo Y73S 5G boasts a quad rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree FoV ( field-of-view ) along with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone camera app supports features such as night mode, macro shots, 10x digital zoom, EIS, and 4K video shooting. For selfies and availability, the device has a 16-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo Y73S 5G is equipped with a 4100mah battery and supports 18W dual-engine fast charging. For connectivity, the smartphone 5G, 4G, LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has dual sim card support but doesn’t have a memory card slot. In terms of dimensions, the device has a thickness of 7.3mm and weighs 171.3g.
As for pricing and availability, the Vivo Y73s 5G comes in a sole variant of 8GB RAM + 128GB UFS 2.1 storage and is priced at 1998 yuan ( Rs. 21,700 approx ). The smartphone comes in two color options Silver Moon and Black Mirror. The device launched in China and will be available for pre-booking on its official website and shipping will start from 16th October.
