Tecno Mobile has announced the Tecno Spark 8C, the company’s latest Spark series device. The Spark 8C is the budget smartphone from Tecno that comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also features a water-drop-shaped notch that consists of a selfie camera. The handset packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device boots Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.
The Tecno Spark 8C boasts of a 6.6-inch display that has HD+ 720 x 1612 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device ships with up to 4GB of RAM and packs 64GB of internal storage. The exact details of the processor which powers the Spark 8C isn’t known as of now. However, it is being speculated that the device uses a Unisoc T610 processor. On the software front, the Spark 8C runs Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Spark 8C features a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 13MP main camera and an AI lens. The rear-facing camera has features such as AR stickers, time-lapse mode, HDR mode, AI scene recognition, and bokeh mode. On the front side, the smartphone features an 8MP selfie camera.
The Tecno Spark 8C houses a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone has features such as dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB port. The handset also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 164.57x76x8.95mm.
Tecno Mobile has not announced the pricing of the Spark 8C. The smartphone is currently being listed on Tecno’s Nigeria and Thailand websites. The handset comes in Diamond Grey, Iris Purple, Magnet Black, and Turquoise Cyan colour options. Tecno has not announced any details regarding the global availability of the Spark 8C.
