HONOR has launched two new laptops in its MagicBook series, called the X 14 and X 15, in India. The laptops were teased last week when a page featuring them appeared on Amazon's India. The line-up starts at Rs. 38,990 and offers features such as a Full-HD screen, up to 10th-generation i5 processor, sleek body, and 65W fast-charging support.
After introducing the X 14 and X 15 laptops in China last year, HONOR has now launched the duo in India. The X 14 and X 15 deliver improved performance, premium aluminium metal body design, and impressive all-day battery life.The laptops will take on rival offerings from brand such as Xiaomi and Lenovo around the Rs. 40,000 price-point.
The HONOR MagicBook X 14 and X 15 feature a 14.0-inch and 15.6-inch IPS display, respectively, with a Full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. They also have TUV Rheinland's Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light certification. The duo sports an all-metal body, a standard rectangular screen, slim bezels, a pop-up webcam, and a 2-in-1 power button with an integrated fingerprint reader.
Under the hood, the HONOR MagicBook X 14 and X 15 are powered by a 10th-generation i3/i5 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. At the heart, the laptops run on Windows 10 Home and draw fuel from a 56Wh and 42Wh battery, respectively, with 65W fast-charging support.
The HONOR MagicBook X 14 and X 15 have a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a USB 2.0 Type-A port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity options on the laptops include Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi. The handsets come with a fan and heat pipe for improved heat dissipation performance.
For official pricing and availability, the HONOR MagicBook X 14 costs Rs. 38,990 and Rs. 48,000 for the i3 and i5 models, respectively. The HONOR MagicBook X 15 i3 version is priced at Rs. 40,990. The laptops will be available via e-commerce platform store Amazon in India from April 6 onward in a Silver color option.
