Honor X9 5G was announced in Malaysia as the new budget 5G smartphone from the Chinese tech company. It arrived as the rebadged version of Honor X30 which was unveiled back in December last year. As for the key highlights, the handset comes with Qualcomm’s octa-core 5G chipset, fast refresh rate punch-hole display, big battery, triple rear camera, fast charging, fingerprint sensor, and more. 

Honor X9 5G flaunts a 6.81 inches IPS LCD display with a Full-HD+ ( 1080 x 2388 pixels ) resolution, 16.7 million colors, 19.9:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz fast refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a MicroSD card slot. 

In terms of camera department, the Honor X9 5G features a triple rear camera that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top center. The device is packed with a 4800mah battery and supports 66W fast charging.

The Honor X9 5G is running on Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 skin on top. For connectivity, the smartphone includes 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and a USB-C port. Sensors onboard, the smartphone includes a Gravity Sensor, Compass, Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, It measures 166.07 x 75.78 x 8.05mm and weighs 189 grams.

The Honor X9 5G smartphone official pricing and Availability haven’t been revealed by the Chinese tech company yet but it is listed on the company’s Malaysian Website. In terms of colour options, the device comes in three color options namely Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Ocean Blue.
