Xiaomi Redmi 10A was announced in India as the new budget smartphone in China. It arrives as the successor of Redmi 9A which was revealed back in 2020. As for the key highlights, The handset comes with a waterdrop notch display, an entry-level MediaTek octa-core chipset, a big battery, a solo rear camera, and more. The Redmi 10A has a similar design to the Redmi 10 which was unveiled a few days back.

Xiaomi Redmi 10A flaunts a 6.53 inches IPS LCD display with an HD+ ( 720 x 1600 pixels ) resolution, 400 nits peak brightness, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is accompanied by 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot up to 128GB.

In terms of camera, the Xiaomi Redmi 10A sports a 13-megapixel solo rear camera under the square-shaped module along with a dual-tone LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 10W charging. It comes running on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 skin on top. 

For connectivity, the Xiaomi Redmi 10A includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a micro USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors onboard, the device includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 164.9 x 77 x 9.0 mm and weighs 194 grams. 

Xiaomi Redmi 10A comes in four configurations: 4GB + 64GB priced at 699 yuan ( Rs. 8,300 approx ), 4GB + 128GB priced at 799 yuan ( Rs. 9,500 approx ) and 6GB + 128GB priced at 899 yuan ( Rs. 10,700 approx ). The company offered the smartphone in three color options namely Shadow Black, Smoke Blue, and Moonlight Silver. The phone is currently available for pre-order and will go for sale from March 31 in China.
