Huawei Mate Xs 2 foldable smartphone has been launched in China on April 29 (Friday). The handset is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 17,400). As for the key highlights, it offers a 7.80-inch touchscreen primary display, a 6.50-inch as its second display, a 6.38-inch touchscreen as its third display, it is powered by Snapdragon 888 processor, runs on HarmonyOS 2, a triple camera setup, and a 4600mAh battery with proprietary fast charging supports.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2 bears a 7.80-inch touchscreen primary display offering a resolution of 2200x2480 pixels at a pixel density of 424 pixels per inch (ppi). It also features a 6.50-inch as its second display, with a resolution of 1176x2480 pixels. The device also has a 6.38-inch touchscreen as its third display, with a resolution of 892x2480 pixels. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM.
The Huawei Mate Xs 2 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 13-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and an 8-megapixel (f/2.4) camera. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies and video calls, featuring a 10.7-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone is powered by a 4600mAh battery. The Huawei Mate Xs 2 supports proprietary fast charging.
On the front software, Huawei Mate Xs 2 is based on HarmonyOS 2 out of the box and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB). The device is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 156.50 x 139.30 x 11.10mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 255.00 grams.
For connectivity options on the Huawei Mate Xs 2 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, NFC, Infrared, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset was launched in Frost Purple, Brocade White, and Elegant Black colours.
